V V \\;, MAGAZINE SECTION BREWSTER HERALD Vol. 32 ll/lW%l'l:li liEllAl.l) Friday, November 1], ]932 I I ii NO 26 b 1621 1932 Are we thankful.., well rather[ N optimistic statement on the face of it, isn't it? But when you consider, in the spirit of the Thanksgiving holidays, what little our Pilgrim fore- fathers had to be happy about, and how grateful they were for their-- very mild good fortune, we, today, can really be thankful. Thankful that con- ditions, both social and economical, are beginning to look up; that our country is now rising to its feet, which means of course, that our own fair city will rise with it. We could quote any number of specific instances exemplifying the upgrade move- ment in industry, commerce and economics, but for the moment we are content to be thankful that we are celebrating Thanksgiving, 1932 edition, instead of the first feast of 1621. We also take this opportunity to thank the citizens of (Name) for their continued and loyal support.
