Wenatchee pair win Jamboree Bass Tourney The Apple Pie Jamboree Bass Tournament was won by the team of Phil Pearsall and David Lane, both from Wenatchee, after they reeled in 23.85 pounds of bass during the two- day event last Saturday and Sunday. All teams launched from Lake Pateros early in the morning on Sat- urday and Sunday. The team of Randy Enger, Bridge- port, and Paul Harris, Omak, took second place with 19.55 pounds, Chuck Hankin/BobAkers, both from Wenatchee, finished third with 19.33 pounds, the team of Mark Dawson, Brewster, and Eric Dawson, Omak, finished fourth with 19.11 pounds and the team ofGreg Helm,Oroville, and Mark Riggs, Ephrata, finished fifth with 16.90 pounds. The biggest small mouth bass was caught by Greg Helm and it weighed in at 3.54 pounds. The biggest large mouth bass was caught by Randy Eager and it weighed in at 6.72 pounds. Apple Dash Saturday in Brewster The Apple Dash will be held in Brewster on Saturday, July 25 be- ginning at 9:00 a.m. This will be a five-kilometer fun run/walk which starts at 7th Street Market. Race-day registration begins at 7:45 a.m. at 7th Street Market and costs $15. Check-in for pre-registered participants will begin at 8:,00 a.m. and the race begins at 9:00 a.m. The entry fee includes an Apple Dash t-shirt. All proceeds from the Aplle Dash benefit the Brewster cross country team. John F. AnnAlise Nelson won the 25-yard breaststroke in 44.84 and was sec- ond in the 25-yard freestyle in 30.46 and the 25-yard backstroke in 35,49. Hillary Madden was second in the 33.49 and the 25-yard backstroke.in 44.17. Kristin Milliette won the 25-yard backstroke in 27.42 and was second in the 100-yard individual medley in 2:27.89 and the 25-yard butterfly in 34.68. 9-10 Macie Webster was sixth in the 50-yard freestyle in 1:03.77. Jenny Madden was third in the 25- yard freestyle in 21.88, fourth in the 25-yard backstroke in 32.44 and sixth in the 25-yard breaststroke in 29.50. Janelle Cutuli was fourth in the 25-yard freestyle in 48.70 and fifth in the 25-yard backstroke in 33.12. Stephaine Milliette won the 25- yard freestyle in 19.77, fourth in the 50-yard freestyle in 53.39 and fifth in the 25-yard breaststroke in 29.26. Amy Fisher was third in the 50- yard backstroke in 51.08 and the 50- yard breaststroke in 1:02.06 and fifth in the 50-yard freestyle in 38.45. 15-18 Heidi Scroggie won the 50-yard freestyle in 33.32 and the 100- yard freestyle in 1:16.84 and was second in the 50-yard breaststroke in 43.29.
